Description

Forged from the sky, the Type 20 Magister is a limited edition with a dial built from an actual Fouga Magister jet wing, the legendary French military aircraft that once trained generations of pilots. The dial, cut and brushed from real aircraft metal, makes every piece unique. Each dial tells its own story, marked by the raw textures of the wing part it came from.

Built based on the specifications of the 1950s Air Force specifications, the Magister retains the essential features of a pilot’s chronograph: sharp legibility and oversized controls designed for gloved hands mid-flight. The hand-wound Peacock SL4617III movement powers the watch with military-grade precision.

Turn it over, and you'll discover an engraved Fouga Magister on the caseback, a permanent tribute to the aircraft that inspired it all.

FEATURES

Rotating Bezel

Bidirectional and friction-based, the bezel is built for timing. Its triangle marker is red for visibility in low light. Inspired by the military specs, it’s made to be used without hesitation, day or night.

Manual Chronograph

Powered by the Peacock SL4617III hand-wound movement, the chronograph features a 30-minute counter at 3 o’clock and a central sweep seconds hand. Every function is mechanical just as it was in the original pilot-issued watches.

Fully Polished Case

The 37mm case is polished across every surface not for vanity, but to reflect the clean geometry of the build. The sharp transitions between the lugs, bezel, and case flank are deliberate.

Oversized Crown

The oversized crown makes winding quick and instinctive. Its size and grip are inherited from pilot watches designed to be used with gloves. Just a clean, functional element that does exactly what it's there for.

Fouga Magister Jet Wing Dial

Each dial is cut from the wing of an actual Fouga Magister jet, the iconic aircraft once used to train generations of French Air Force pilots. Brushed aluminum, raw texture and visible imperfections, no two dials are alike. It’s a piece of aviation history repurposed for your wrist.
